Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Slotlist.it (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform" or "Service"). By using the Platform, the user ("User") fully accepts these Terms of Service ("ToS"). If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must immediately stop using the Service.

2. Service Description

Slotlist.it is a free, non-commercial web platform designed to provide individuals and groups ("Community") with tools for organizing events for the video game Arma 3 and Arma Reforger. Features include, but are not limited to: authentication via Discord, creation and management of events ("Slotlist"), a Groups system with self-managed permissions for event creation ("Zeus"), user profiles with statistics and badges, an awards system, and a platform for reporting bugs.

2.1. Service Limitations

Slotlist.it does not provide any hosting or storage services for game missions, .pbo files, Arma 3 or Arma Reforger servers, or other external content (such as mods or game data). The Platform only manages the data necessary for event planning (slotlists, groups, statistics, and textual/multimedia content uploaded by users within the limits set by these Terms).

3. Registration and Account

Access to interactive features requires authentication via the third-party Discord service. The User is solely responsible for the security of their Discord account. Personal data provided by Discord is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

3.1. Age Requirements

The Platform is intended exclusively for users aged 14 and older. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. The Platform operators do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 14 years of age and reserve the right to suspend any account suspected of belonging to a minor.

4. Groups System and Administrative Roles

Users may request the creation of their own Group. Group creation is subject to approval by the Platform administrator ("Admin").

The creator of an approved Group automatically acquires the role of mission creator ("Zeus") on the Platform and becomes solely responsible for managing their Group. They can promote other members of their Group to the "Zeus" role, granting them the same mission creator privileges. Abuse of these privileges may result in revocation of permissions, account suspension, or Group removal at the sole discretion of the Admin.

4.1. Group Creation and Purpose

Groups created on the Platform must be used solely for organizing events related to the video game Arma 3 or Arma Reforger. Groups created for other purposes, including but not limited to, soliciting visits, members, or promoting external content, are not allowed. Creation or management of a group in violation of this requirement constitutes a breach of these Terms of Service. In such cases, Platform administrators will carefully review the group and, if a violation is confirmed, the group will be immediately removed and the creator suspended from using the Platform, as described in Section 6: Suspension and Termination of Service.

5. User Conduct and Content

Users agree to use the Platform responsibly and respectfully toward other community members. Exploiting vulnerabilities, posting illegal, offensive, defamatory, dangerous (malware), or content that violates third-party rights or is contrary to good morals is prohibited. Users are solely responsible for the content they generate (event descriptions, bug reports, textual and multimedia content entered or generated via the Advanced Briefing Generator for Zeus, etc.) or upload (images, files, etc.). The Platform and its operators are not responsible for any copyright, trademark, or other third-party rights violations arising from user-submitted content.

The Platform and its operators reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate without prior notice.

For uploading modsets on the Mission Creation or Mission Editing pages, only .html files generated by the official Arma 3 launcher are allowed. Any other file types, aside from images and their respective extensions, are prohibited and constitute a violation of these Terms of Service, potentially resulting in content rejection, immediate removal, and possible account suspension.

The Platform allows users to set a custom nickname. The User is solely responsible for the chosen nickname and agrees not to use names that are offensive, vulgar, infringe registered trademarks, or may be confused with other users. The use of any clan tag in the "New Nickname" field (e.g., "-CLAN- User") is strictly prohibited. To obtain a clan tag, you must register your clan on the Platform via this page or join an existing one. Platform administrators reserve the right to remove or reset any custom nickname deemed inappropriate at their sole discretion.

5.1. Copyright Infringement Notice

Slotlist.it respects the intellectual property rights of third parties. If you believe that user-submitted content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our email address: legal@slotlist.it.

The notice must include the following information:
a. Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
b. Identification of the material you believe infringes your rights, including the specific URL on Slotlist.it where the content is located.
c. Your contact information (name, address, phone number, and email address).
d. A statement under good faith that the use of the disputed material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
e. A statement, aware of the consequences of false claims, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Upon receiving a valid and complete notice, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the disputed material. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe third-party copyrights.

6. Suspension and Termination of Service

The Platform reserves the right to suspend, block, or limit access to any User, without notice and at its sole discretion, in case of violations of these Terms, conduct deemed non-compliant, or for any other reason, even if not expressly listed in these ToS. Additionally, the Platform may be shut down or disabled, in whole or in part, at any time without warning or prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform's source code, design, logos, and original textual content are the exclusive property of its creators. User-generated content (e.g., images uploaded for events) remains the property of the respective Users, who grant the Platform a non-exclusive license to display such content solely to provide the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is," without any warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators and developers shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the Service, including data loss. Although periodic backups are performed, the User is responsible for their own data. The Platform does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous availability of the Service.

9. Changes to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time. These ToS may be updated; changes will be communicated via the /changelogs page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with Italian law. Any disputes regarding the interpretation, execution, or validity of these Terms shall be subject to the competent court under applicable law.
